3 Presentation Objectives
Science Behind Nitrogen Benefits of Nitrogen Inflated tires for the consumer, private sector and the environment Stop Loss and Return on Investment financial rewards Green movement Public Awareness Statistics Membrane Technology Testimonials and Video Product offering Summary Q & A

4 Properties of Nitrogen Tire Inflation
Better pressure retention, longer N2 permeates sidewall 30-40% slower than O2 Reduces deflection (heat buildup) Nitrogen is a clean, dry gas (-40°F dewpoint) Eliminate rusting & other internal contamination Tires run cooler (moisture retains heat) Pressures fluctuate less (vaporization) Oxygen & heat cause rubber to age, nitrogen prevents aging Smoother ride when less water present to vaporize expand and contract Safer ride when tires are inflated properly Rubber doesn’t age (fewer blowouts service calls)

5 The Problem: Air Inflation
35% of fuel consumption used to overcome rolling resistance Green House Gases up With N2 Lower GHG’s mean higher carbon credits Cost of wasted fuel 20 million new tires sold per year in Canada alone Tire under inflation is chronic problem 70% of vehicles have inflation problem 23% have one tire underinflated by more than 20% Scrap tire disposal up More tires thrown over the hill

6 Carbon Credits/Carbon Footprints
Carbon Credits are a key component of national and international attempts to mitigate the growth in concentrations of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs). Carbon trading is an application of an emissions trading approach. Greenhouse gas emissions are capped and then markets are used to allocate the emissions among the group of regulated sources. The idea is to allow market mechanisms to drive industrial and commercial processes in the direction of low-emissions or less "carbon intensive" approaches than are used when there is no cost to emitting CO2 and other GHGs into the atmosphere. Since GHG mitigations projects generate credits, this approach can be used to finance carbon reduction schemes between trading partners and around the world. Many companies that sell carbon credits to commercial and individual customers who are interested in lowering their carbon footprint on a voluntary basis. These carbon offsetters purchase the credits from an investment fund or a carbon development company that has aggregated the credits from individual projects. The quality of the credits is based in part on the validation process and sophistication of the fund or development company that acted as the sponsor to the carbon project. This is reflected in their price; voluntary units typically have less value than the units sold through the rigorously-validated Clean Development Mechanism].

8 Business Development:
Go Green! Business Development: Companies like Trillium and Clean Energy can increase retail sales by offering N2 inflation Service at its CNG filling locations. Infrastructure products for Topping Off available Public awareness: Green Vehicles even less Oil and Gas dependant. Longer tire life means greener environment Stimulus Money available N2 Inflation Completes the “Totally Green Vehicle Concept

9 Nitrogen permeates 3 to 4 times slower than O2
Statistics Nitrogen permeates 3 to 4 times slower than O2 Result: Nitrogen maintains tire pressure significantly longer than compressed air
