The purpose of the Kentucky Bluegrass Awards is to encourage children to read quality children’s literature. That’s a fancy way of saying “getting kids to read great books.” The KBA is a kids’ choice award, which means only kids in Kentucky, grades K-12, get to vote on the winners!
