6 Ideas to Innovation (I2I) Replaces former Technology Partnership Program Designed to accelerate development & transfer of promising technology to Canadian companies Phase I: Proof-of-Concept funding Phase II: Tech enhancement funding

7 Research Partnerships Agreements (RPA) Maximizes research resources  Builds university-industry-government linkages Agreements with 4 government departments  DND, CFS/SSHRC, AAFC, NRCan-Earth Sciences Priority research areas for each RPA Industry contributes cash & in-kind  Flexible leverage
