21 Tax Revenue and Ratable Information 2008-2009 Budget Average Rutherford house has a tax- assessed value of $449,334 –5,011 homes divided into $2,251,611,300 of assessed value A 1-cent increase in the school tax rate raises the taxes on an average Rutherford house by $44.93 per year (or $3.74 per month) –Information provided by Rutherford Tax Assessor’s Office
