2. 2 EEG-Defined Subtypes of ADHD in Adults. The study will investigate EEG and ERP clusters within a sample of adults with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. The identification of distinct EEG-defined subgroups of adults with ADHD would have considerable implications for the use of EEG in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD. The EEG will be recorded in a resting condition, as well as while performing continuous performance tasks. Clinical subjects will be grouped by means of cluster analysis.

EEG Data base, coordinate data collection, analysis. Investigate treatment approaches including EEG-Biofeedback. IBRF: ADHD, autism, coma, dementia, stroke.

5. 5 EEG & Mobile Phones Nada Pop-Jordanova, Macedonia, has EU FP6 funding to examine the effect of mobile telephones on children. Adrian Burgess, Swansea, has Government Home Office funding to examine effects on the EEG of mobile phones, as part of a larger study.

6. 6 EEG-Neurofeedback & Performing Arts John Gruzelier, Goldsmiths, London, has funding from –NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Arts &Technology) to examine music performance in novices – see SAN poster, Leach et al, on singers. –EU FP6 to examine dance performance. Olga Bazanova and Lubomir Aftanas, Siberia, Russian Academy of Sciences –are examining music performance – see SAN presentation, –are collaborating with Nada Pop-Jordanova, Macedonia on music performance.
