Excepts from The Treaty Of Versailles - 1919
1. “The Allied Governments affirm, & Germany accepts, the responsibility for causing all the loss & damage to the Allies & European nations by the aggression of Germany” 2. “Germany’s army shall to limited to 50,000 soldiers. Her navy shall be all but eliminated. Her air force will be permitted to retain only a few aircraft for defensive purposes only.” 3. “Germany shall be stripped of all her colonies in Africa & the world. In addition, disputed territories in Europe (Alsace-Lorraine & Western Poland) shall be removed from German control.” 4. “Germany shall be forced to pay reparations (war damages) in the amount of $35 Billion.”

Terms of the Treaty: Germany was humiliated by being forced to accept full responsibility for starting the war. Germany loses most of its armed forces. Germany lost all of its colonies in Africa & Asia. Germany is forced to pay billions of dollars in reparations (war damages) to allied governments.
