2. Origins of GrowthAccelerator Formally launched as GrowthAccelerator May 2012 Initially offered until 31 March 2015, now extended until 2017 as part of the Business Growth Service. GrowthAccelerator is a national (England-wide) service that focuses on providing coaching, training and leadership development whilst developing growth communities to support ambitious businesses.

3. What is the Business Growth Service? GrowthAccelerator, Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), Intellectual Property Audits and Design Mentoring will integrate to become the Business Growth Service. The service will continue to provide tailored business support to small and medium sized firms with the ambition and potential to grow. This service will bring growth businesses closer to existing Government services including: - UK Trade & Investment - UK Export Finance - Innovate UK (formerly Technology Strategy Board) - Local Growth Hubs Business Growth Service

Leadership & Management – all service streams Up to £2k grant per eligible senior manager Self select training for business leaders to improve skills, knowledge & expertise, Match funding – company must contribute 50% towards the costs, Statutory/operational training not eligible - must be focused on improving leadership and management skills, Training must be for senior management that are directly involved in the strategic direction of the business.

9. Growth Impact Pilot Could your leadership team benefit from training? Would extra funding help you achieve this? The Growth Impact Pilot offers match- funding of up to £2,000 per eligible senior manager. Available exclusively to businesses with a turnover between £250,000 to £2,000,000. In addition, a selection of participants will be chosen to receive additional coaching support, where the cost of joining GrowthAccelerator will be waived.
