Retroactive credits are earned by taking a “placement test” in the spring at the college you will be attending. The test determines your language ability and in what level course you will be placed. You then take 1 semester of the level you placed into. If you get a “B” or better in that class, you then receive credit for that class and all the courses below it. Typically our students earn between 9-16 FREE credits this way. 14 Free Powerpoint Templates Page 14 More testimonials “Spanish will be useful for my marketability as an educator or as any career. Foremost, this is because Spanish is widely spoken. Also because learning one foreign language increases your skill at acquiring more languages. And because just learning another language makes you more adept at dealing with ESL individuals. It's basically assumed that you have four years of foreign language when you apply to colleges. If I hadn't had four years, I would've had to take a foreign language to graduate. That's becoming a more and more popular practice at colleges, from what I gather. Better just to do it in high school!” –Michelle, age 20, studying Secondary Education at The College of William and Mary Education at The College of William and Mary (Former WUHS student) (Former WUHS student)
