2 Manager’s View ENJOY GUY FOX! The players and management would just like to wish all our fans a joyous and memorable Bonfire weekend. Guy Fox is known worldwide as being a night of bonfires and fireworks! Let’s hope the sparks fly for our team in their forthcoming league matches. All the players, and myself, here are wanting to burn Grampian into the ground, as we have been doing recently. We have been enjoying a rich vein of form and it seems last year is firmly behind us and we can now focus on the success and ambitions of the future. In the meantime, we would just like to wish every one of our supporters a very happy Bonfire weekend and remember to keep safe – so you’re there ready to scream the newly renovated Nemgirt Arena down! 4 Featured Player Stephen Marlow You have been in formidable form since you joined here. How would you assess your form? I do believe I have been playing well, but when you take on the captain’s armband for a team like this, it’s a great honour but you do need to be on the ball, so to speak. I am happy with my form, but a team performance is most important. I can’t run a team by myself so full credit to the boys whose form has been exceptional recently. What are your views on this club in general along with you receiving the captain’s armband? I am delighted. It’s a great honour, but I would gladly hand over my armband if it meant us continuing to win games – that’s the most important thing, I just do what I can do. This is a great club and I am enjoying the best years of my career so far. Finally, what are your personal goals for this season and next? Well, I can’t exactly comment on next season – we aren’t there yet! This season has been impressive. If we maintain this form, which is a tough order, we can win and get promoted. I concentrate on my own performance before I encourage the team. When I am confident between the posts, I then try to pass that onto the team, which is very difficult when you are sometimes a whole pitch away from them! I am just happy to be here and enjoying my football. Full credit to The Trigman and players!

6 News 27-10-04 The Newgirt Arena At a recent press conference, the board declared that The Nemgirt needed a few more hundred seats for the visiting chairmen. The Nemgirt stands as being the largest and most up-to-date stadium in the division especially now 200 more VIP seats in the Main Stand have been installed. It will just make the place even noisier and more controlling! The board said it was ‘money well spent!’. ‘Money well spent!” 27-10-04 “Games Will Toughen!” Wilson has been enjoying a rich vein of form in recent domestic matches and the confidence has truly shown on the park. However, the manager says it hasn’t been as easy as it seems, “The games have been tough and we have had to work hard for the results, and, knowing football, I’m sure tougher games are still to come, but if the players maintain their concentration, we will hopefully continue impressing. A little suspicious: Wilson fears there’s worse to come

7 Press Conferences 01-11-2004 The manager was sadly held up at Glasgow Airport following his scouting of up in coming opponents, Fife United. As a result of this, he was unavailable to offer us a press conference and so the manager will be here, the same time, next month. Our apologies.

9 Honours Season 1 The Trigmen’s first season in a competitive league. A strong and convincing battle from the young lads, however, credit to the other teams for putting up a good fight. An excellent season and firm start to the club’s history. Some great performances left us a close second in the league. Very proud of the players but sadly, no silverware. Season 2 An even better season than last. Every team, including ourselves had improved dramatically and this lead to one of the closest leagues in Scotland! But this club fought harder than ever before and in the end, were rewarded the Division 5 Champions. Season 3 This year was nothing short of disastrous! The club sadly only managed to gain, an albeit deserved, one point all season! A draw with EK arguably kept the manager from getting the sack there and then. The club were relegated back to division 5 and the manager was given one more season to get the team back in order… Scottish Division 5 Trophy
