4 4 The intricacy of the defence innovation system require, while developing the concept and model for R&D management to conduct analyses at three levels – international, national and defence industry level.

9 9 Objective of the research To develop a NATO integrated R&D concept and model as an incremental tool for improvement of the national R&D management system.

Plans for the future We are planning to continue with the following actions: Identification, collection and exploration of developed countries’ good practices that can be used in R&D management concept and model development. Research of national innovation systems and their interdependence with defence innovation systems of countries in the project. Research the specificity of existing Defence R&D management systems Defence industry transformation process exploration.
