4 Million Minute Marathon—January 26 th On Monday during homeroom, our school will participate in the Million Minute Marathon in recognition of Celebrate Literacy Week. This is a state-wide initiative, and K-12 schools across the state will participate. The goal this year is 36 million minutes of reading statewide. After announcements, you will read silently (anything you want) for 20 minutes. We will calculate the minutes for the entire school and report it to the state. Please participate, and let’s show the nation that Florida is a state that supports literacy for all.
