Did you know?

About 9.5 million people die each year due to global infectious diseases. Most of them are in third world countries.

Mainly due to the fact of poor health care.

O ther factors are lack of doctors, inadequate medicines and vaccines, bad environments, lack of sanitation, insects, parasites, infected meat poultry etc.

Common diseases worldwide are influenza, cholera, Hepatitis A, B, and C, HIV and AIDS, measles, meningitis, Typhoid and more.

There are twenty well known diseases including Tuberculosis, malaria, cholera, and more have spread/reemerged since 1973, often in drug-resistant and virulent forms.

Since 1973 thirty previous diseases have been indentified however, we still have still have no cure. These diseases include HIV, Ebola, Hepatitis C, and Nipah Virus.

Seven Biggest Killers Worldwide Tuberculosis Malaria HIV/AIDS Pneumonia Influenza Diarrheal Diseases Measles

Children in developing countries, already lacking proper nutrition, may also lack access to affordable measles vaccinations and simple interventions for diarrheal diseases, children are more likely to die from pneumonia, diarrheal diseases and malaria than adults.

Pregnant women are especially vulnerable, they are at most risk for malaria and women are three times as likely as men to develop women.

These diseases can be prevented

Health systems try to immunize, treat and monitor the status of patients. Children in developing countries rarely have access to proper health care, These 6.1 million deaths a year are completely unnecessary and can be prevented with proper heath care,

In developing countries they make efforts to find, diagnose, and contain global infectious diseases. By trying to get medicines and vaccines and better health care facilities.

We can all do help and provide these things by working together as one community. Even if we live far apart we can help each other out.

We can do this by getting more doctors and health care workers in third world countries (doctors without borders). And teach more people how to treat diseases, and get more medicines and vaccines.

Global infectious diseases do not have to be deadly. If we all work together we can prevent them and cause less people there deaths, and lower the death toll.
