All subordinates of GWRRA, Inc. are required to annually file a 990 return with the IRS. For those subordinates whose gross receipts are normally $25,000.00 or less, they will use the IRS 990N e-Postcard to report their earnings. Objective

Legal name and mailing address as it appears on your 8822 Form or EIN request. Example: Arizona District Chapter A Name and address of subordinate Director. Website address if the subordinate has one. Confirmation that the subordinate’s annual gross receipts are normally $25,000.00 or less. They are a private firm that has been authorized by the IRS to collect this data.

In subsequent years you will not be required to register and you can go directly to “Step 2”.

Select “Exempt Organization” as shown then enter your Chapter EIN # and then, click on “Next”.

When all fields are entered press next Create unique Password and Enter On This page you will enter information that will be used for “Log-On” purposes. The Email address of the person entering the data needs to be the one that is used, so they receive the “Request Result”. Note: Organizational Name will always be Gold Wing Road Riders Association. We will use the DBA field later to enter the subordinate name.

Select “No” to indicate that you have not gone out of business. Select “Yes” to indicate that your gross receipts are normally $25,000.00 or less.

Congratulations, you have finally made it to the main content page, where you will enter all of your personal information. Pay close attention to all the fields and be sure to enter the correct information as indicated. Enter CD’s Address, City, State, Zip code Enter Chapter Website address Select “Person” and enter Chapter Director’s Name Select “Person” and enter Chapter Director’s Name Enter CD’s Address, City, State, Zip code Press “Save Changes” 1 st Then press “Submit Filing to IRS”

This may take 30 minutes. This screen is a little deceiving. It will take a little time for the confirmation to come back from the IRS. File an 8822 to update the information Contact the Home Office and have them fax a letter to the IRS stating you are a subordinate of GWRRA, Inc. Save the rejection notice and reply to the Urban Institute after 3-4 weeks requesting them to retransmit this filing. You cannot refile online.
