Task 1 – 10 mins  Working in groups, create a mind map like the one you have just seen  Decide on a stimulus that your group could use to write a song about – make a note of this in the centre of your group’s mind map  The stimulus could be about school, football, your life – anything really  Try to be specific e.g. rather than just using “football” as a stimulus you could consider a particular football event e.g. “Aston Villa winning the European cup”

5. A Stimulus…  In 1905 Gloucester Rugby Club played the All Blacks for the first time.  Imagine the excitement in Gloucester. International tours were not as regular as they are now – transport and money were more limited!
