4. What it is Like to Live in Grassland In the summer we were forced to move due to wildfires and low amounts of rainfall. Summer temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter it can go below -40 degrees Fahrenheit. There is not a lot of trees because of droughts.

8. Animals That are Uniquely Adapted to Grasslands 1 Lions- They blend into the grass to help them hunt for prey. Pronghorn- Strong legs so they can run from predators. Water Buffalo- Travel in large groups to protect each other.

9. Animals That are Uniquely Adapted to Grasslands 2 Coyotes- They have adapted to eat the leftovers of bigger animals that others kill Hawks- Have amazing eyesight so they can spot prey

10. You can see all types of animals. You can smell flowers. You can feel grass hitting your legs.

12. How We Were Able To Survive ●We tried to stay the shade of tree so we wouldn’t dehydrate ●We ate insects until we made hunting tools from the plane crash ●We made a tree house to keep away from animals

13. What We Ate And Drank We ate Pronghorns that we caught with trap. We drank from a stream that was nearby.We found water by feeling for moisture in soil.
