3. Characters  Thelonious- Thelonious is a chipmunk who is adventurous and wants to find out if humans ever existed. The key to the mystery may just be when he meets two animals.  Fitzgerald- F itzgerald is a porcupine who lives in the library in the city of ruins. He meets Thelonious in the City of Ruins.  Olive- Olive is a bear that lives in the City of Ruins. She meets Thelonious when Fitzgerald takes Thelonious to meet Olive.

4. Minor Characters  Bill- Bill is a scientist who Thelonious, Olive, and Fitzgerald discovered, when they were in the fog mound.  Dolores - Dolores is Thelonious’ older sister and doesn't believe in humans.  Lizard Spy- The Lizard Spy is the first person that Thelonious met in the City of Ruins, he also wants Thelonious to join him and the Dragon lady.  Thelonious’ mom- Thelonious’ mom is proud of Thelonious and is nice.  Victor- Victor is a raccoon who is scared of Olive’s plane.

5. Settings  The Untamed Forest- It’s the forest where Thelonious lives with his family.  The City of Ruins- It’ an old city that is not in good shape. Fitzgerald and Olive live there, along with many other animals.  The Fog Mound – Olive’s family lives there, however, she doesn't live there because she didn’t learn “The way”.  Olives Place -The place where Olive lives and where she makes her planes.

6. Problems  Thelonious is washed up in a mysterious place(the City of Ruins) and didn’t know how he got there.  Thelonious meets the lizard spy and doesn't accept what he offered. Now Thelonious is in danger.  Olive’s plane crashes near the fog mound and she doesn't know how to fix it!

7. Solution  The Dragon lady destroys Olive’s place ( That’s the danger I was talking about) but it’s just too late because Olive flies away with Thelonious and Fitzgerald before they get hurt.  Olive doesn't figure out how to fix the plane but they figure out a way to get in the fog mound.  Thelonious figures out there was such things as humans.  Olive flies back to Theloniou’s home and he figures out how he got there.
