1. Breast Cancer Treatment using Nanomedicine Becca Baldwin East Tennessee State University

2. Statement of the Problem Current treatments for breast cancer is not a guaranteed cure and could cause extreme discomfort and hardships for the diagnosed patients. If nanomedicine could be found to be more effective and widely used, treatments for patients could become less stressful of an event.

3. Research Questions Can physicians use nanomedicine for the early detection of breast cancer? How many different ways can nanomedicine be administered to the breast cancer patient? Would physicians use nanomedicine as a breast cancer treatment? What types of treatments do physicians prefer for treating breast cancer?

4. Methodology Surveys will be distributed to physicians specializing in the treatment of breast cancer in Kingsport and Johnson City. The surveys will be collected and analyzed to determine the conclusions.
