7 Work Permits All students under the age of 18 who work outside of the home are required to secure a work permit 14-15 yr. old can work a maximum of 3 hours when school is in session. No earlier than 7am and no later than 7pm 16-17 yr. old daily maximum 4 hours on school days. 5am-10pm
