5. Clifford PossumClifford Possum Born in 1932, Clifford is the most famous Australian Aboriginal Male artist. He lived in Northern Territory’s Western Desert. He painted traditional dot style paintings. His painting Warlugulong sold in 2007 for 2,400,000 dollars the highest price ever paid for an Aboriginal painting beating Emily's sale in May of that year. He died in 2002 on the day he was due to receive The Order of Australia which is an award that recognises GREAT citizenship to Australia.
