Initial Assessment Activity A Aspiration Choose your challenge – how quickly can you complete it? I IndependenceTrain pupils to come in, sit down & get on! M Motivation Did you beat your best time? After 5 minutes, move on! S Success! Tells you what you know and what you need to improve, at the start of the lesson. Tells the teacher who may need support, and where that support should start.

Final Assessment Activities A Aspiration How well can you do at the game? Can you help your partner? I Independence Train pupils, in their pairs, to run the activity. M Motivation Often game based – ‘end on a high’ so pupils leave feeling they’ve really enjoyed the lesson. S Success! You can see how much you’ve learnt & progressed in the lesson.
