Industrial Boom After the Civil War, the US was largely an agricultural nation. 1920s it had become the leading industrial power in the world. Factors: Wealth of natural resources Government supports business Growing urban population (cheap labor and markets for new products) How did these factors leave to an industrial boom?

Electricity and Business Ran numerous machines Electricity and Home Energy soon became available in hoes and spurred the invention of time-saving appliances.
