3  To promote the creation of contact networks between entrepreneurs and regional incubators staff.  To develop local skills in the RedLac and Relapi member organizations on the basis of the exchange of experiences among their affiliates.  To promote business development and internationalization of incubated businesses. Program Objectives

4  The program is financially supported by InfoDev (LAC Workshop 2006)  Up to USD 35,000.- to finance direct expenditures of the internships. Budget

5  Directed to entrepreneurs and staff from RedLac and RELAPI member incubators.  5-day minimum internships.  Partial Funding (tickets and lodging) Regulations

7  44 proposals  13 entrepreneurs  31 staff members  55 institutions involved  11 source countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Uruguay)  10 target countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, México, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, USA) Applications

8  Participative:  Representatives of associations from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay  Based on defined criteria and grading of the proposals  22 selected internships  9 source countries Selection Process

9  Great interest of network members in this initiative.  Most of them stated that they would appreciate participating in the future in this kind of instances.  Extension of the contact networks through the connection of the 55 institutions involved in the program. Preliminary Results
