3. The Reasons of Why I Chose This Number One of my reasons for choosing this number is that, first of all, I don’t know why but I like this number. Second of all, if there was no 24, than we can’t tell time, so 24 is an important number for the world. My last reason of why I chose the number 24 is because my mom is born on July 24th, and I love my mom so I picked out the number 24. These are the reasons of why I chose the number 24.

4. Factors, Proper Factors, and Factor Pairs For 24 24 is quite a small composite number but it has lots of factors. The factors are 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,and 24. The proper factors of 24 are 1,2,3,4,6,8, and 12. If you add 24’s factors, it will add up to 36 which is more than itself, so 24 is a abundant #. 24 is a even number because it could be divided into 2. 24 has four factor pairs. 1x24, 2x12,3x8, and 4x6.
