Math Facts about 13 Fibonacci table 13 is a Fibonacci number !!!! Eg: 1+1=2, 1+2=3,2+3=5, 3+5=8, 5+8= 13 The multiples of 13 up to 100 are: 13,26,39,52,65,78, 91 The only number that isnt composite is 13 Slide 3

My world using number 13! I have 13 cousins! There are 1 3 players in a rugby team! There are 13 cards in each suit- hearts,diamonds,ect... Slide 4

Reflections 1 I have leaned that you should never use my number in the middle of the game for the factor game because your opponent gets 2 turns and you lose a turn. I think my special number is a really good # for a first move for the factor game because your opponent only gets 1 points and you get 13 point! Slide 5

Reflection 2 My # 13 is prime so it only has 1 factor pair.Eg: Factor pairs of 13: 1 and 13 only! My number is odd! Eg: 1,3,5,7,9,11, 13 My special number would be easy to find the factors so then it would be easy to use the number 13 as one of my numbers for a Venn diagram. 13 F=13 F=12 12,3,4,6 The GCF of 13 and 12 is both 1 because its the only number That they have both as factors. Slide 5

Reflection 3 and 4 For 78 and 13 to meet you need to find the multiples of 13 and count how many times you added 13 to get 78! So 13 * 6 = 78 The factorization of 78 helps me find the factors of 78. 13 is one of them so 78 is a multiple of 13. Slide 6

Social Facts about 13 When you are 13 you are considered a teenager or an older child! In Judaism the boys experience bar mitzvah at the age of 13. Because they say when you go through the age of 13 you are a more responsible. Slide 8
