With this part of the software it is possible to set/code the ECU installed on vehicles, made by the VW group, specifically for models:
Lupo, Polo, Golf, Bora, New Beetle, Passat e Sharan starting from model/year 1997 to approx.
This procedure can be carried out on new ECUs and as well as already coded ones (excluding AIRBAG and IMMOBILIZER) .
The code inserted must always be at least 5 digits.
Should the code be less, place in front of the code a sufficient number of zeros to reach 5 digits. E.g:- ECU code 65, insert

DPF REGENERATION
This procedure allows the forcing of Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration, and must be performed if the DPF warning light is ON, (indicating a fault or low performance.).
To carry this out, first check the fuel level (1/4 of the tank min.) and then just set off the function and follow the tool messages.
Once the regeneration starts, the vehicle must be driven over 50 km/h (30 Mph) until the DPF warning lamp switches off.
Regeneration is considered successful when the solid matter load is less than 15%.

This operation allows adaptation of the EGR to the engine ECU.
The values are stored in the ECU defining the EGR working range (min., max. and intermediate position).
The procedure is necessary in case of component replacement or when the learnt values are erased.
(e.g. should the electric throttle body basic setting prove difficult it can be avoided by erasing the learnt values).

This function permits steering wheel sensor calibration.

Centrally align wheels and steering wheel

Set off the procedure
To check that the procedure has gone successfully, drive the vehicle at 30km/h (20mph) and steering fully left and right check if the steering returns to its original position (+/- 20 degrees).

HIGH SPEED CAN BUS PROGRAMMING
Should the above ECU need to be replaced or high speed CAN-BUS network need re-configuration, this function permits setting in the new ECU, the presence or not of other various ECUs (body, chassis, network etc.) installed on the car.
A list of systems will appear and the operator must choose between “yes” or “no” related to the installed ones.

INJECTOR CODING
This procedure writes in the ECU the relative code to one or more injectors, associating each injector to the specific cylinder.
Once the procedure is set off, it asks to which cylinder to assign the injector code.
After having selected the cylinder ID (1-4), the stored code is shown; just insert the new one and confirm.
Should this process be required for more than one or for all cylinders, repeat the above procedure every time is necessary.

EGR WORKING RANGE SETTINGS
The function allows to set and store automatically the EGR valve working range.
The ECU will actuate the EGR reading the min & max position’s value, storing each one as well as LEARNT value.
Warning:
To complete the procedure, please mind to switch the ignition off and wait until “Power Latch” * will be stopped
* Power Latch = Delay on main power supply shutdown
