Career’s

Top 3 career  Coach or Scout  Sports commentators  Mechanical Engineer

#1 Sports Competitor  Athletes and sports competitors typically have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. They must have extensive knowledge of the way the sport is played, especially its rules, regulations, and strategies.

#2 Coaching and Scout  Coaches and scouts need a bachelor’s degree. They must also have extensive knowledge of the sport. Coaches typically gain this knowledge through their own experiences playing the sport at some level. Although previous playing experience may be beneficial it is not required for most scouting jobs.

#3 Mechanical Engineer  How to Be Mechanical engineers Mechanical engineering degree programs usually include courses in mathematics and life and physical sciences as well as engineering and design courses. Mechanical engineering technology programs focus less on theory and more on the practical application of engineering principles. Programs typically last 4 years but many students take between 4 and 5 years to earn a degree. Mechanical engineering degree programs may emphasize internships and co-ops to prepare students for work in industry.

All Career outlooks  Employment of mechanical engineers is projected to grow 5 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Job prospects may be best for those who stay informed regarding the most recent advances in technology. Mechanical engineers can work in many industries and on many types of projects. As a result, their growth rate will differ by the industries that employ them.  Employment of athletes and sports competitors is projected to grow 7 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Growth will be primarily due to population growth and increasing public interest in professional sports.  Employment of coaches and scouts is projected to grow 15 percent from 2012 to 2022, faster than the average for all occupations. Rising participation in high school and college sports could increase demand for coaches and scouts.  High school enrollment is projected to increase over the next decade, resulting in a rise in the number of student-athletes. As schools offer more athletic programs and more students participate in sports, the demand for coaches may increase.

#1 Sports Competitor  Athletes and sports competitors participate in organized officiated sporting events to entertain spectators.

#2 Coaching  Instruct or coach groups or individuals in the fundamentals of sports. Demonstrate techniques and methods of participation. You evaluate athletes' strengths and weaknesses as possible recruits or to improve the athletes' technique to prepare them for competition. Those required to hold teaching degrees should be reported in the appropriate teaching category.

#3 Mechanical Engineer  Perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools engines machines and other mechanically functioning equipment. Oversee installation operation maintenance and repair of such equipment as centralized heat gas water and steam systems.
