Itinerary – day 1 8:30 - 8:40 Arrival at school 9.30 - Depart by coach to London Arrival and check-in at hotel Sightseeing tour Evening meal at Planet Hollywood Evening performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Theatre Royal Drury Lane Return to hotel

Itinerary – Day 2 Continental breakfast and check out of hotel Arrive at the Southbank for London Eye flight at 10:30 12:30 Arrive at Natural History Museum - for picnic and then visit 15:00 meet coach and transfer back to school. Rest stop and meal on the way back ETA at school. 6:30pm

Arrangements The trip has been arranged through ‘Study Experiences’; a company with great experience co-ordinating school trips We have our own designated representative and 24 hour support All establishments have experience accommodating school groups (including the hotel) The children will be organised into groups of 6 or 7 and have their own group leader. Their leader will supervise them for the duration of the visit. The visit leader is Mrs Brett. Mrs Dean, Miss Savins, Mrs Gooch, Miss Baggett, Mr Colbeck and Mr Burrows will also supporting the visit. There will be 7 adults in total and all will be CRB cleared Children will be sleeping 2 or 3 to a room

Things to take Comfortable shoes – we will be doing lots of walking! Personal items for an overnight stay; pyjamas, toothbrush and toiletries etc Towels and bedding are NOT needed; these are provided by the hotel A change of clothes Spending money and camera (these will be the pupil’s responsibility and we cannot be held responsible for them) A book, word puzzles, comic, card games etc for the journey or bedroom Water bottle Packed lunch (for first day) I suggest two bags are taken. One for carrying around (packed lunch, camera etc) and another for overnight items. Please name all belongings NO MOBILE PHONES OR ELECTRONIC GAMES

Behaviour Only the very highest standards of behaviour are expected AT ALL TIMES Pupils will be visiting a range of exciting (and busy) places. They should behave responsibly and remember to: * stick with their group leader * let their leader know if they have a problem * follow instructions ALL pupils will be expected to complete a ‘behaviour contract’ before embarking on the trip Please speak to your child about these expectations We are planning on having a great time and everyone’s co-operation ensures the success of this trip

Next steps.. Please complete the visit consent form and behaviour contract Make sure that your mobile numbers are up to date with the office (we can text you to let you know how we are getting on!) Speak to us if you or your child has any particular needs or concerns Ensure that any medication is up to date (including inhalers) and that you have completed the details on the visit form Sort out what you need to take Get ready for a wonderful time!
