Bay of pigs  President Kennedy had the option of using the U.S. Air Force against the Cubans but decided against it.  Consequently, the invasion was stopped by Castro's army.  The invasion made Castro wary of the U.S. He was convinced that the Americans would try to take over the island again.

Cause of the Bay of pigs  President approved the CIA to spy on Cuba for the reason of Fidel Castro having support of USSR.  The Bay of Pigs Invasion was an unsuccessful attempt by United States they sent Cuban exiles to overthrow the government of the Cuban (dictator Fidel Castro).  Hoping to find support from the local population, they intended to cross the island to Havana. It was evident from the first hours of fighting, however, that the exiles were likely to lose.

4. Effects of bay of pigs  By the time the fighting ended on April 19, 90 exiles had been killed and the rest had been taken as prisoners.  The failure of the invasion seriously embarrassed the young Kennedy administration.  The invasion made Castro wary of the U.S. He was convinced that the Americans would try to take over the island again.

Soviet placed medium and intermediate-range ballistic missiles in Cuba, just 90 miles from U.S. shores.  President John Kennedy notified Americans about the presence of the missiles in Cuba  He told his decision to enact a naval blockade around Cuba and made it clear the U.S. was prepared to use military force if necessary to neutralize this perceived threat to national security.

Cause of the Cuban missile crisis  One of the causes of the Cuban Missile Crisis was that the USSR was afraid that they have might have gotten hit by a missile first so they secretly hid a missiles in Cuba.  Another cause would be that and Nikita was afraid to lose Cuba in an invasion from the U.S.A, so they agreed to put missiles on their island because of protection.  There were also many tensions with the USSR and the States with the peace program that Russia wanted to start. Then the U.S.A said that they would be tougher on Russia to end the Cold War.  The USSR wanted all the power and so did the United States.

7. The effect of the Cuban missile crisis  Many people were afraid due to the fact we were on the brink of war  The soviets removed there missiles and we removed ours in turkey secretly  We agreed to never invade Cuba again
