4. Procedure 1. Using the scissors and the ruler, cut a rectangular piece of aluminum foil. 2. Determine the area of the piece of foil. ( A = l x w = _____ cm 2 ) 3. Using the balance, determine the mass of the aluminum foil. *For best results, ball the foil up before putting it on the balance. 4. Repeat the procedure for the other brand.

5. Analysis (*You do NOT have to write the questions!) 1. Using the density of aluminum, calculate the volume of each piece of aluminum foil.  density of aluminum = 2.699 g/cm 3  Density = Mass / Volume, so Volume = Mass / Density
