3. Introduction
From its beginning, Saudi Aramco realized that local manpower would play a major role in oil production and eight training centers were opened to prepare Saudis for this challenge.

4. Driver/HEOP Training Unit
D/HEOP unit trains 265 Saudi Aramco Crane and Heavy equipment operators ever year to safely operate Cranes and Heavy Equipment in all hydrocarbon areas.

6. Crane Courses Basic Hydraulic Crane Operator Course (Regular)
To train Saudi Aramco regular employees in the safe operation of cranes up to 50-ton capacity. Trainees must complete 200 hours on-the-job (OJT) after completing the training program. English 4B and Math 4B are the prerequisites for this 433 hour course.

7. Crane Courses Basic Hydraulic Crane Operator Course (Apprentice)
To train Saudi Aramco apprentices in the safe operation of cranes up to 50-ton capacity. Trainees must complete 200 hours OJT after completing the training program. English 4B and Math 4B are the prerequisites for this 433 hour course.

8. Crane Courses Advance Hydraulic Crane Operator Course
To train Saudi Aramco employees in the safe operation of advanced, high-tech 200 ton cranes. Prerequisites for this 320 Hour course include:
English 5B
Industrial Math 5B
Certified to Operate Basic Cranes
Completion of Basic Hydraulic Crane Operator Course
1600 Incident-Free Experience

9. Crane Courses Safe Crane & Rigging Awareness Course
To train foremen, supervisors and site engineers in general crane safety. Includes calculations using Range Diagram and Load Chart use, sling and hitch arrangements, and pertinent GIs relating to crane operations.
Duration : 24 Hours

10. Crane Operator Certification
Driver/Heavy Equipment unit certifies about 2500 Saudi Aramco and Saudi contractors crane operators every year

Medical Certificate
Driver/HEOP TU Certification
