4. Warm Up – Grammar Underline the infinitive in each sentence.  1. I want to go to the zoo.  2. Helen and Jerry didn’t want to leave.  3. To be or not to be. That is the question.  4. What do you want to do today?

5. Vocabulary Practice Construct your flash cards for your new vocabulary unit: Standard-> Unit 5 Honors -> Unit 8 You have 15 min.

15. Grammar – Infinitive Phrases  Infinitives -> verb form that acts as a noun, adjective, or an adverb and most begin with to.  Ex: I want to go.  Infinitive phrases -> infinitive + any modifiers / complements. The entire phrase can be used as a noun, adjective, or an adverb.  Ex: I want to nap before dinner.
