Study tools, including videos on various keyboarding topics, games and more designed to help you master keyboarding are available.

4. Signing in to KPDO Go to login.cengagebrain.com Click “Create an Account” (After first time, use “Log In”)

5. Signing in to KPDO Step 1: Enter access code from the Printed Access Card that accompanied your text or Instant Access Code you obtained from CengageBrain.com Step 2: Fill out account information and click “I agree” to License Agreement

6. Signing in to KPDO Step 3: Enter school information and click “Search” Step 4: Select school and click “Continue” Step 5: Reply to e-mail to verify your e-mail address

7. Signing in to KPDO Step 6: Once logged in to your account, enter your Access Code. from the Printed Access Card that accompanied your text or Instant Access Code you purchased on CengageBrain.com Step 7: KPDO will now be installed under “My Courses & Materials” on the left hand side.

8. Installing KPDO Step 8: Click “Open” to launch your course. You will now be prompted to download plug-in files to install KPDO. NOTE: Use Internet Explorer 9 or Firefox to install KPDO. Word 2010 is required for courses beyond Lesson 25. Installation Time: 12-15 minutes (estimate) Upon installation completion, your computer will restart.

Installing KPDO KPDO Client Tools KPDO WORD 2010 Add-In -------------------------------------------- Flash Player 10.3.0 or higher Visual Studio Tools for Office 3.0 (or higher) WORD 2010 on local drive System Requirements: Word 2010 must be installed on the local drive. (If only using Lessons 1-25 you do not need Word 2010). These plug-in files are required to run KPDO: The first two files (checked) will need to be installed on your computer. They will remain there until you delete them. (Control Panel  Add or Remove Programs) The other three programs—during the installation process the software will look for these programs. WORD 2010 is not required for students enrolled in a course using only Lessons 1-25

10. Installing KPDO NOTE: Once all file installations are complete your computer will restart. Step 9: Click INSTALL. Then click Run for each of the file installations. * * Note message about restarting your browser after each installation.

11. Signing in to KPDO Step 10: Log In to your CengageBrain account at login.cengagebrain.com Step 11: Click “Open” to launch your course.
