2. Summary This article is about the Jews of Palestine and how they were declared an independent state in their ancient homeland. Arab armies attacked immediately after the nation of Israel was born and the conflict continues to this day. In 1947, Palestine was split into separate Arab and Jewish states. The Palestine's accepted partition, the Arabs rejected it. Arabs rioted and attacked Jewish settlements, and the Jews retaliated. On may 14,1948, the Jews staked their claim and declared independence, calling the new sate Israel. The armies of six Arab nations attacked the new state. That war created a refugee problem that remains unresolved today.

3. 3 Important Events Partition and War: 1947- 1949 Control of Jerusalem is divided between Jordan and Israel. The Six Day War: 1967 Israel attacks and captures East Jerusalem and the West Bank from Jordan. Oslo Accords and Israel- Jordan Peace Treaty:1993- 1994 Israel turns over control of parts of the West Bank and Gaza to the Palestine's. In 1994, Israel and Jordan sign a peace treaty.

Quote “The earth is the mother of all people, and all people should have equal rights upon it.” - Chief Joseph This is a good quote that represents the conflict between the Arabs and the Jews because it says that people should have equal rights. In this case, the Arabs are the ones that want the Jews to stop violating their human rights and Israelis want to have the right to have their own country.

5. Two State Solution Both the Arabs and the Jews want the land. The Jews gave them some land, but the Palestinians argued that it wasn’t enough. The Jews response was that it was because they wouldn’t stop attacking them. If the Israelites keep control of the land, they would let anybody in. Many Christians would like to have the opportunity to visit Jerusalem and other places in Israel as well.

6. Two State Solution continued: Clearly, Israel cannot agree to a "solution" that would eventually lead to the end of the Jewish state and the slaughter of its citizens. Because the Palestinian leadership refuses to negotiate peace and continues to advocate conquest of the entire Holy Land, like it or not, Israel must for security reasons remain in control of the "West Bank." However, there's no reason that even under today's current impasse the Palestinians should not have full autonomy, which they almost have today, as an "unincorporated territory." While the situation is not ideal, until the Palestinians agree to full peace with Israel, providing they do not resume terrorism, they could be welcomed as partners in the Israeli economic system and should be able to fully participate in Israel's commercial and creative life. Even without statehood, in less than a generation the Palestinians could become the most advanced and prosperous people in the entire Arab world. Obviously the prospect of the Arabs having to wait longer for the launch of a Palestinian state will be painful for them. But this is a price that must be paid if Palestinian leaders refuse to negotiate peace and cling to the futile dream of conquering Israel. Israel has given its land in Gaza to the Palestinians in the name of peace and receives rockets in return. Israel has offered 97% of the West Bank and a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem in the name of peace and received rejection. It's time the Arabs acclimate to a status quo of their own making and take advantage of living next to one of the most successful countries in the world. In any case they must accept that their dream of Israel's annihilation will never be fulfilled.

7. Two State Solution continued: This solution can possibly work by just sorting things out and for once let each side have a word in what they believe. This world has no need for violence anywhere. I believe this is the best solution because these people need to set a good example for their kids and just hope they don’t do things just as worse when they are older. No I don’t feel drawn to either side because everyone has the right to live the way they want to be.

8. IN MY OPINION, THE JEWS SHOULD STOP VIOLATING THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE PALESTINIANS. THEY SHOULD START TREATING THEM WITH RESPECT AND SHARE THE LAND EQUALLY AMONGST EACHOTHER. THEY SHOULD ALSO COMMUNICATE WITH EACHOTHER, THIS WAY THEY CAN COME UP WITH AN AGREEMENT QUICKER. THIS IS THE BEST SOLUTION BECAUSE IT WILL STOP THE FEUDING AND EVERYTHING WILL BE PEACEFUL AGAIN.
