1 Introduction KBase works with Office 2003 and higher www.kalmstrom.com KBase is a knowledge base that works inside Outlook. If you install it in a shared mailbox or public folder, the articles can easily be shared. KBase can be used together with my support handling application Public Folder HelpDesk, but it also stands very well alone. KBase is easy to install and use and needs no new client installation or extra window. KBase works with Outlook 2003 and above. Welcome to the show! 2 KBase works with Office 2003 and higher www.kalmstrom.com KBase for Outlook is fully integrated in Microsoft Outlook. Articles can be full-text searched. Create a new article. Export KBase articles to html-files Export KBase articles to Excel

3 KBase works with Office 2003 and higher www.kalmstrom.com All the other Outlook tools, like format text, spelling check and insert attachment, work as they normally do. Post the article when it is finished. Drop-down combo boxes for Problem type and Problem category Write, paste or insert text, hyperlinks and images here. Creator is filled out automatically by Outlook

4 KBase works with Office 2003 and higher www.kalmstrom.com Table of content can be generated automatically. Articles can be grouped by Problem category and type and with a collapsible outline. Uncheck the Problem category or type which you don’t want to publish. Register here. When KBase is registered this button disappears. Publish articles to HTML
