2 4,750 ANSI lumens, WXGA, single-chip DLP projector
You connect a projector up from your computer and then point to a plain wall or background and the images/text/video will appear on the background in a larger format, you can adjust the size. High-quality images with an unmatched level of detail and contrast Button-free and cable-free for simple operation and less clutter Reliable DLP technology for true ease of mind Easily upgradable with future connectivity add-ons Low cost of ownership thanks to DLP technology and sealed optics Pre-set image modes that allow for flexible colour management Projector type WXGA single-chip DLP projector Technology 0.65" DMD Color wheel 5-segment (RGBWY) Resolution 1,280 x 800 WXGA Brightness 4,750 ANSI lumens* 3,300 ANSI lumens (eco-mode)* (P2) *Measurement, measuring conditions, and method of notation all comply with ISO international standards. Contrast ratio 1,800:1 Brightness uniformity 85% SENERIO: I would use this in a meeting or conference or lecture, its easy to connect to your laptop and easy to see and carry about.

3 4,750 ANSI lumens, WXGA, single-chip DLP projector
ADVANTAGES: Pre-set image modes that allow for flexible colour management Button-free and cable-free for simple operation and less clutter Good for use in small areas such as conferences, due to its size and it being light weight DISADVANTAGES: Its expensive so if broken can be hard/expensive to fix The lamps are expensive to replace The projector can be a fragile item It has a fixed lens meaning that it is not so versatile when wanting to place the projector in different locations for different presentations (M2)

4 Samsung UE40H4200 40 Inch Freeview LED TV
The LED TVs are connected to a laptop/computer to get the images/text/videos to show on to the tv for a presentation or conference. HD Ready 720p LED TV Resolution: 1366 x 768 Freeview tuner Wide Colour Enhancer Plus ConnectShare™ (USB 2.0) (P2) SENERIO: I would use this to show PowerPoint, videos and any other content needing to be seen in a larger format other than a computer. The LED TV’s would be good set up around a room all showing the same content allowing many people to be able to see what is being shown. (M2)

5 Samsung UE40H4200 40 Inch Freeview LED TV
ADVANTAGES: It is very light Weight and easy to move around It has built in speakers for audio It has a USB function allowing you to play content direct from the USB rather than a Laptop The LED tv’s are made up of LED’s meaning they have a longer life expectancy unlike PLASMA TV’s which need re gassing after so many hours of use DISADVANTAGES: Individual LEDs could go wrong not allowing you to see the full picture If dropped it will break due to the glass screen and it being quite a fragile piece of equipment Does not support some video formats (M2)

6 Sony Z1 video camera Providing HDV with the 1080i Standard and joining the existing DVCAM range, the HVR-Z1E offers users an affordable migration path from Standard Definition whilst retaining the popular DVCAM benefits such as ease of use and i.LINK (IEEE1394) connectivity. In addition to its compact size, the HVR-Z1E boasts a number of features over consumer-oriented products making it ideal for the professional user. (P2) SENERIO: You can use this for any live performance as you would connect the camera to the plasma tv and you can show what was going on live. If you had a vision mixer you could change between either different cameras or a PowerPoint. This camera is perfect for recording a show or just streaming the feed live.

7 Sony Z1 video camera ADVANTAGES: High Definition quality allowing you to send HD signal 20 X Zoom on the lens allowing you to zoom in to certain elements on the stage or show Built in microphone DISADVNTAGES: It uses tapes that are only an hour long so if the show was 2 hours you would have to change a tape unlike newer models where they record onto SD cards. It is a fragile piece of equipment and if dropped it will break. The battery life does not last long due to the features it has. (M2)

8 Sentient CCTV BNC and Power Cable 30m
The BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) connector is a miniature quick connect/disconnect radio frequency connector used for coaxial cable. It features two bayonet lugs on the female connector; mating is fully achieved with a quarter turn of the coupling nut. BNC connectors are used with miniature-to-subminiature coaxial cable in radio, television, and other radio-frequency electronic equipment, test instruments, and video signals. SENERIO: (P2) You'd use these to a live camera to a PLASMA screen to send video signal .

9 Sentient CCTV BNC and Power Cable 30m
ADVANTAGES: They lock in which stops them being pulled out You can send video over a long run Disadvantages: Quite a fragile cable and could break easily Does not deliver HD (P2)

10 NewTek TriCaster 40 Control Surface
A vision mixer (also called video switcher, video mixer or production switcher) is a device used to select between several different video sources and in some cases compositing (mix) video sources together to create special effects. This is similar to what a mixing console does for audio. Studio-style control in durable, compact design perfect for desktop or portable use Intuitive layout mapped to TriCaster 40 for maximum manual interaction Large, backlit buttons and premium T-Bar for confident, comfortable performance Multi-purpose control over production elements with versatile delegate buttons Instant setup and integration for fixed or on-the-fly production workflow (P2) SENERIO: You'd use this when you are filming live, to switch between different cameras and to see what image would be showing on the screens you would use monitors (small TV’s) to see what the cameras are showing which allows you to see if you want to change to this input. (P2)

11 NewTek TriCaster 40 Control Surface
ADVANTAGES: Highly advanced vision mixer Lots of built in effects Instant Set up Disadvantages: Very expensive Will take quite a bit of learning (P2)
