2 The book of the dead – god doors. Imagine you are an Egyptian pharaoh and you have died, you’ve got a journey to go on to get to the afterlife! The first place you will go to is the doors of the gods. Here you will need the book of the dead to help you name the gods otherwise, your head will get chopped off!

3 The book of the dead-The weighing of the heart. See front page for the bigger picture. Weighing of the heart. After the god doors, you will go to the weighing of the heart. Here you will need a spell from the book of the dead to help you get past this.

4 How important! So that is how important the book of the dead is! Without it you could end you with not going to the afterlife!
