3 Interesting facts England is only 35 km from France and is now linked by a tunnel under the English Channel. The author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, was born in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England.

4 The Church of England! Most people in England go to a Church of England church. There are lovely cathedrals in England, for example, Wells, Salisbury, St Pauls, York Minster.

5 London London is the capital of England Parliament is in England, this is where they make all the decisions about the running of the country. Buckingham Palace is in London, this is where the Queen lives when she stays in London There are lots of big Museums in London. I have been to the National History Museum to see the Dinosaurs and Crystals.

England is however 2.5 times more populous than Australia and 1.5 times more populour than California. With 2.5 times less in habitants than Japan, its density of population is slightly higher than the Country of the rising sun.
