2. When, approximately, did Islam make inroads into your assigned region? Where is your region and important cities that present themselves in your research located on a map? Introduction Overall, how was Islam introduced into your region? What type of diffusion brought Islam into your region: Relocation or Expansion? If it is expansion, then is it contagious or hierarchical? What people or conditions helped the spread or acceptance of Islam in the area assigned? What people or conditions hindered the spread or acceptance of Islam in the area assigned? How did the people of your area help to diffuse Islam throughout the world? Carriers?
