4 CNCS Disaster Services Build the capacity of national service network organizations to help states prepare, respond, recover and mitigate disasters and increase community resiliency. DSU: small but mighty. DSU is the agency lead for Preparedness, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery.

Because of you, CNCS continues to have a force of over 4,000 AmeriCorps members ready to respond in times of national and state emergencies.
