4 Task You had to answer three homework questions for today. For each answer you were provided with a structure (scaffolding) to help you answer each of the questions. We are going to split the marking up as follows Question 1 – Mark your own work Question 2 – Peer mark Question 3 – Mr Kidd and Mr Kennedy will mark Questions 1. Explain in detail how you gathered data on your performance. 2.From gathering data on your performance you will have identified a weakness. Explain the method of training you are currently using to improve this weakness. 3.Explain how you have monitored your training programme to date.

5 Homework Question 1 Question 1 – Mark your own work 1. Explain in detail how you gathered data on your performance. Instructions Read the model answer provided With two different coloured highlighters identify the ‘How’ statements and ‘Why’ statements Read over your own homework answer. Considering the structure you were given identify any parts you missed out. Compare your answer to the model answer, what level would you say your answer is? Would you traffic light your answer as:Green - Excellent of the standard require Yellow - Satisfactory some key content / information missing Red – Unsatisfactory, not of the level required

Explain the method of training you are currently using to improve this weakness. Instructions Swap jotter with your shoulder partner Using the structure you were provided with (shown below) mark your partners jotter. Allocate 1 mark for each area of content covered. You should also allocate a sixth mark based on presentation i.e. clear paragraphs Structure 1.Introduction - name the aspect of fitness which is a weakness 2.Name the method of training you use 3.Give a definition for the method of training 4.Benefits of method of training 5.Describe your training session – what do you do.

12 Fitness requirements of Football Football is a fast fluctuating game involving bouts of intense energy sprints interspersed with periods of low intense walks or jogs. Furthermore the demands made on cardio respiratory endurance and speed endurance can significantly effect how a performer maintains his/her skill level throughout the 90 minute period. 13 Specific fitness demands of different roles For effective performance you require a wide repertoire of physical, skill related and mental fitness Although all players require a combination of... cardio respiratory endurance, speed endurance, muscular endurance, power, speed, strength and flexibility... the specific fitness requirements of each player will vary dependent on their position and role.
