Strengthening existing institutions developed through SGSY,NABARD,MAVIM To ensure seamless transition from non-intensive to intensive in phased manner

3 Strategy Total No. of Non-Intensive Blocks – 315
Semi-intensive strategy- One ZP cluster per block is identified as semi-intensive cluster. Two block coordinators are appointed, one for each PS cluster. These clusters are mobilized in saturation mode. After one and half year, BCs moved to new cluster. Non-intensive strategy- In remaining area of the block, Extension officers are providing support to existing SHGs.

4 Implementation Arrangements
Establishment of dedicated cell for NRLM (Non-intensive) within SMMU. Implementation through existing structure of DRDAs PD, DRDA is responsible for implementation of NRLM at the district level and BDO is responsible at block level. Delegation of thematic charge-IBCB, FI, Infra & marketing, M& E to APOs in DRDA Block coordinators and extension officers at block level Role of extension officers redefined- skills & convergence , Financial inclusion Capacity building of key officials/staff viz- PDs, APOs, BDOs, CCs, EOs

7 Block Coordinators Development professionals with grass root level experience are appointed as block coordinators. Total No. of BCs - 589 Training: Total 23 days 1) Immersion 15 Days 2) Induction 5 Days 3) Refresher 3 Days

8 Social inclusion and institution building
BCs enter in identified Grampanchayat area through Gao pravesh. They identify poor and form new SHGs of poor women. They also revive and strengthen existing SHGs.

9 Capacity building Cascading Model of Capacity Building… Network of trainers from State to Cluster level

10 Identification and training of Community cadre
BCs identify one BK for each SHG and two to three active women per village as potential CRP.

11 Development of training modules and audiovisual material

13 Financial inclusion  Appointment of 6 financial inclusion consultants who are retired bankers. They visit and support DRDAs in planning, implementation and monitoring of SHG-bank linkage program. Support in training bankers Coordinate with the Regional offices of banks State, district and block level steering committees for SHG bank linkage in which status of bank linkage is reviewed and actions are taken for clearing pendency.

14 Training of Bankers MSRLM conducted state, district and block level workshops of financial inclusion for bankers. Resource SHGs demonstrated their dashsutri meeting before bankers.

21 Systems M & E- Quarterly review workshops
District wise physical and financial targets are distributed at the beginning of year MPR is collected regularly and performance ranking of districts is shared every month with CEO, ZP, divisional commissioner and principal secretary, RDD. Individual performance of block coordinators tracked monthly.
