More info at erpsim.hec.ca About Gilbert Babin Gilbert Babin completed his doctoral studies in 1993 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, New York, USA), where he studied integration approaches for heterogeneous, distributed systems. His doctoral thesis earned him the Del and Ruth Karger Dissertation Award in 1995. He worked at the Computer Science department at Université Laval before joining the Information Technologies Department at HEC Montréal (Canada) as Associate Professor. His research interests revolve around distributed systems and approaches to integrate them. He is one of the co-inventor of ERPsim.

More info at erpsim.hec.ca About Jacques Robert Jacques Robert is a full professor and chair of the IT department at HEC Montréal. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Western Ontario and was a professor at the Economics Department of the Université de Montréal before moving to HEC Montréal. His research interests are applied game theory, mechanism design and experimental economics. He has published in economics, operational research, and neural computing. He is a fellow at CIRANO and chairman of Baton Simulations.

More info at erpsim.hec.ca About Simone Spiller recently joined HEC Montréal as ERPsim Lab’s Coordinator. Her background includes working at SAP Canada and SAP AG for more than ten years. Simone holds a M.Sc. degree from McGill University. Her thesis topic was about Distance Education on the Web.

This training is a certification event; at the end of the training, faculty will obtain a valid simCID allowing them to operate ERPsim in classroom. The training will be offered by Jacques Robert, Gilbert Babin and Simone Spiller.

More info at erpsim.hec.ca Learning objectives At the end of this training (June 7-9), You will be a trained ERPsim instructors (Level 1) with a valid simCID. You will be able to use both the distribution and manufacturing simulation games in your classroom. You will know how to administer simulation game with ERPsim. You will be able to coach and to troubleshoot participants in an ERP simulation game. After the certification exam (June 10) You will be able to provide training on using ERPsim.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RUN GAME WITHOUT A simCID. This also gives you access to the free ERPsim faculty support desk and ERPsim learning portal.
