2 Upload your pictures Connect the camera to an available USB port Connect the camera to an available USB port Turn the camera on Turn the camera on Follow instructions in the Microsoft scanner/camera upload pop-up window Follow instructions in the Microsoft scanner/camera upload pop-up window

3 Create a folder in “My Pictures” for your work Save your pictures in the newfolder Press here Name the folder

4 Open Photoshop

5 Open a photo for editing on the desktop Press “File” and “Open”

6 Choose the photo from the folder that will be edited Press to open the photo on the desktop

7 Crop distracting or unnecessary background Press the crop tool, then draw a box around area you want to keep in the picture. You can also choose a circular shape for cropping by right clicking on the crop tool.

8 Select “Crop” from the Image list

9 Edit photo levels Choose “Adjustments” from the Image list Select Auto Levels

10 Edit photo contrast Select Auto Contrast from the Adjustments list

11 Edit color Select Auto Color from the Adjustments list You may also adjust the brightness and contrast by choosing this command

12 Save the photo Choose “Save As” from the File list

13 Name your photo Choose the JPG format And save it
