Objective: You will explore watercolor techniques in order to apply them to a non-objective painting. DRILL: 1.What watercolor techniques can you identify in this artwork? 2.Get out a watercolor set, water, brush and napkin (from front desk) 3.Use your sketchbook for these techniques. Supply orders We need to get the supplies asap. Bring in your $$$$. Give back the yellow order form!!!!!! (michael’s and amazon.com have packs of 8 x 10 canvas. 10-12 of them for around $20) Ask for canvas for Christmas.

Flat wash A flat wash is one that is a solid color from the top to the bottom or the page; or area in which you need a flat color.
