The trombone is the only modern orchestral brass instrument that could play all the notes of the scale from the beginning. It’s a musical instrument in the brass family. Like all brass instruments, sound is produced when the player’s vibrating lips cause the air column inside the instrument to vibrate.

8 There is no special markings for when the trombone slides only if the trombone wants to do a glissando is there a marking that kind of looks like stairs. This music sheet looks the same pretty much as the bottom line on piano music.

9 The pipes have been curved and twisted into different shapes to make them easier to hold and play. This family of instruments can play louder than any other in the orchestra and can also be heard from far away. Although their early ancestors are known to have been made of wood, tusks, animal horns or shells, today's modern instruments are made entirely of brass. Brass instruments are essentially very long pipes that widen at their ends into a bell-like shape.
