8 Alienation Examples  When you are with a group of people and you don’t feel a connection to any of them so you go on your own.  The boy choose to alienate himself by sitting on the empty table in the classroom.  I would rather go read in the library during lunch than to talk to my friends.  My dad alienated himself from us after the divorce, now in only see him once a month.

9 Why do teens alienate themselves?  There are many reasons why teens alienate themselves.  One reason could be that they are trying to find out who they are becoming and need to have their own space  Another reason might be a physical reason, they can feel unsure/uncomfortable with the way they look  Loneliness. They lost someone or something and the only way they can cope with it is to be alone and deal with their own feelings.
