Study abroad allows you to get to know another culture first-hand. Study abroad allows you to have academic experiences that would not be possible on our California campus.

Study abroad helps you to learn about yourself and to understand better your perceptions of beliefs and values. Study abroad is an optimal way to learn a language. Study abroad provides an opportunity to travel. Study abroad enhances employment opportunities after graduation.

10 Study Abroad 101: Planning a Successful Study Abroad Experience Things You MUST Know Please remember that study abroad: is a privilege afforded to less than 4% of undergraduates in the U.S. is an educational opportunity that carries with it significant responsibilities as you represent yourself, your campus, and your country. is an academic experience that requires preparatory planning and post experience reflection if it is to be most meaningful. is an adventure that can be life-transforming.

You can increase your success in the admissions process by being flexible. (i.e. make multiple choices, be willing to engage in other quarters, etc.)
