2. 1. Go to www.creativecommons.org 2. In the EXPLORE Area click the button that says: Find Licensed CC works

3. From this next page, CHOOSE – ccMixster or Soundcloud* Type in an adjective for the type of music or sound effect you want and click ENTER on your keyboard *Note: I could not access Soundcloud from school, so directions for that site are not included here.

4. Listen to some of samples or use the search box and a word that describes the music you want.* When you find one that you like, click it’s hyperlink and you’ll see what type of attribution (credit to the author) is required. *Suggestions for words to use when looking for music: dramatic, scary, fun, happy, jazzy, thematic, intense.

5. To download music, you must register for a free account and validate it the email that you provide. Click LOGIN to get to a button that allows you to register as a NEW USER. Then CHOOSE DOWNLOAD and save it to your computer. Be sure to save the info for giving credit in a document. Suggestion: Take a screenshot and save it or use the Snipping tool to save the info for your list of Citations.
