1. CoreAdmin Account for Mass Spectrometry How-to

2. 1st, go to http://coreadmin.ucsf.edu 2nd, click here

3. This window will pop up

4. After you send the email, you will receive an email with your login information. You will need to create an account for each of your students/postdocs/etc that need to use core services. You will need to register an account (Fund/DPA, ETC) and authorize it for Mass Spectrometry

5. So go back to http://coreadmin.ucsf.edu and log in

6. Now Log in Click “Manage Funds” to get This Page Click “to add an entirely new fund”

7. Fill out this pop-up and make sure to check this box.

8. Click “Manage Authorizations” to get This Page Click Here to authorize a new User

9. Fill out the ensuing pop-up… Make sure to use the account You authorized for the mass spectrometry core!

10. If you only want to authorize yourself click here

11. Make sure to use account authorized for mass spec Pick yourself from the list.

12. When you or your authorized student/postdoc/etc. come by to drop off a sample, I will demonstrate how to enter It into the system. Feel free to contact me with further questions: eric.johansen@ucsf.edu
