2 Has American been affected by the fast food industry? 1.technology  In fast food industry is using technology for advertising their products.  The fast food industry use technology for get more customers to buy more of their products in a cheaper price.  In technology people can get discounts for fast food so the customers can get the products more cheaper price.

3 Fast food growing in alarming rates and obesity rates  The fast food industry is growing in alarming rates because its now easy to get them anywhere in the stores now. Also its growing because of competition form each companies, they want to beat each other so they can sell more. They try to make there products as cheap as possible in order to beat other companies.  The obesity rates on adults double since the 1980 15 percent to 30 percent. For the children obesity it triple the amount to 7% to 20% from 1980 to 2008.  Many people blame the fast food industry for children obesity. Also for that they make their products cheaper so that the people will buy more which it will increase the obesity.

4 Government involvement and the role that they play  The government is involve with the fast food industry problem. There trying to make people to eat less fast food. For example Ms. Obama made a program called “Let’s Move”. This program is trying to make the kids more active and learning how to eat healthy. Ms. Obama made the companies to take part of the ingredients from their product.

5 Fast food eaters affects health care on America  In the US many people are overweight or obese. One of the causes for becoming obese is by eating fast food. They eat fast food because is more cheaper than buying fruits and vegetables. Now people that are obese are now spending more money on health care. There are adding $190 billion which over the annual price tag. With this Medicare and Medicaid cant cover the bill prices when its about obesity.

6 Amount of fast food eaters in the US vs. china The US  In the US there are many people eat fast food. Some are every day, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Fast food eater increase dramatically over the years, mostly children. China  Right now China have few fast food options that they can eat. They took away most meat products like the big mac and chicken nuggets because of a food scandal that they discover. Which is that they discover they were selling expire meat.

8 America’s portions size compare to china The US  The portion size has grown over the past 20 years. The portion size has grown in the fast foods, the restaurants, and at home. There selling more of the bigger portions because its cheaper. The bugger increase 23%, the soft drinks grown 52%, etc. China  The portion is smaller to the US. The portion is half of the size of the US portion. The portions of china is more the medium size unlike the bigger larger size of the US.

10 Government involvement in fast food industry in America vs. china The US  The government of the US are trying to make people eat less and exercise more. Also taking some ingredients from the products China  The government took out some fast food products like the big mac and chicken nuggets because they found out about that some fast foods were selling expire meat.

11 Health care in the US vs. china The US  There many people spending on health care. There are adding $190 billion which over the annual price tag. Which cause the Medicare and Medicaid cant cover the bill prices when its about obesity. China  The health care is still improving for in the past was very flawed. Many Chinese citizens is expecting improvement with the health care.

13 Obesity rates in the US vs. china The US  The obesity rate of the US for adults is 68.5% are overweight and 34.9% are obese.  For children is 31.8% are overweight and 16.9% are obese. China  The obesity rate of the US for adult is 38.5% are overweight or obese  For boys is 23% overweight or obese  For girls is 14% overweight or obese

15 Solutions to help lower US obesity rate  The solution that helps lower US obesity rate is that eat more vegetables and fruits instead meat and fast food. They need to exercise more often every day. Don’t eat big portions of oily foods like meat, hamburgers, etc. Also cut back the fast foods, which means don’t eat them every day.
